I started to get addicted to it after my first encounter, because like what I said before, I find it more вЂњbeautifulвЂќ rather that gay. Until I learn that shonen-ai means love between two beautiful boys / men / bishies in a romantic relationship, while yaoi means same as shonen-ai, but more on sexual relationship between two boys. I also search it in other site or wedpage to find out more. So I googled it for more further information until I discover the word вЂњyaoiвЂќ in wikipedia. On my first encounter of it, I find it beautiful instead of gay, so I try to look more at it and find out that they called it вЂњshonen-aiвЂќ. When IвЂ™m seaching in the internet on some random anime stuff, I saw some beautiful fanart and some CGs of a BL visual novel of a two anime boys kissing. I use to search in the internet mostly anything about pokemon and some anime on that time. It was a month of May 2008 when I discover yaoi though internet surfing. I discover yaoi when I was 15 years old incoming third year highschool back in 2008. Me as a red hair guy in the middle, when I discover yaoi.

Like how the popular yaoi series Junjou Romantica and Sekaiichi Hatsukoi portrayed a pure and innocent love between male characters without linking their love relationship in real lifeвЂ™s sexual orientation, they never label themselves as gay or bisexual, and being free from real life society of sexual orientation. Yaoi is not education for gay men, and yaoi characters are not meant to represent вЂњreal gay menвЂќ. Yaoi and gay stuff in real life are completely two different things and are not related to each other at all. And being a fan of yaoi is not necessary to become gay or bisexual when you love yaoi fandom. I only like yaoi in anime, manga, BL visual novel, doujinshi, and yaoi featuring a male characters from a popular anime series, not lifeвЂ™s realism about homosexuality. I love yaoi because of a pure and simple love relationship between two males, that I find it somewhat cute. First of all, its not gay or any homosexuality in real life that I like, but IвЂ™m not meant to discriminate LGBT stuff, I donвЂ™t like to link yaoi fandom in real lifeвЂ™s homosexuality and IRL gay stuff.
